Where does Advanced serve?
Advanced Building Contractors provides commercial and residential construction services throughout the Upper Cumberland of Tennessee. We have served clients in all 14 Upper Cumberland counties, including Cookeville, Crossville, Sparta, Livingston, Gainesboro, Jamestown, Byrdstown, Celina, Lafayette, Carthage, Smithville, Woodbury, McMinnville, and Spencer. Our service area includes Putnam County and communities throughout the Upper Cumberland region.
Does Advanced charge a fee for initial consultations?
No. Advanced does not charge a fee for initial consultations. We are more than happy to help point you in the right direction to help get your project off of the ground!
Does Advanced provide design services?
Depending on the project's size, Advanced may be able to help with the design portion, either in full or in part. Please reach out to discuss design options further. We are happy to help!
Does Advanced Building Contractors hire employees with little or no construction experience?

What are some of the typical services Advanced offers?
If you can think of it, we have done it! Our resume includes custom homes, parking lots, driveways, residential and commercial renovations, exterior kitchens, three-story commercial buildings, warehouses, churches, parks, and neighborhoods, to name a few.
Has Advanced worked with architects and engineers in the past?
Absolutely. We have extensive experience working with architects and engineers across a wide range of projects. We have built lasting relationships with numerous design professionals, many of whom have chosen to work with Advanced on multiple projects over the years.
Do you provide competitive bids?
Yes. We provide competitive lump-sum bids and/or cost-plus bids based on detailed project estimates and a thorough review of the plans and specifications. Our goal is to provide accurate, competitive pricing while maintaining the quality and value our clients expect from Advanced.
What percentage of work does Advanced perform in-house?
We are proud to say that we typically perform more than 50 percent of the project in-house. Having a team of talented craftsmen gives us the power to complete the project in a way that meets our company standard.
How do you handle discrepancies in construction documents?
We do our absolute best to point out any discrepancies or deficiencies in the plans and specs before the bid is due or the contract is signed. However, if we are unable to identify any issues prior to construction, we will do our best to work with the designers to resolve them in a reasonable and fair manner.
